Ali Saheli

I am an engineer and early stage investor.

I co-founded TeleSwap, a secure, trustless light client bridge connecting Bitcoin, EVM chains, Solana and TON.

As a founding general partner at Hex Capital, a crypto fund launched in 2016 in Vancouver, I invest in teams such as Dapper Labs, Kraken, Maker, 0x Protocol, Nervos Protocol, as well as Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Before investing full time, I was briefly Head of Product at Shippo, a multi-carrier shipping API and dashboard. In 2013, I co-founded Foro, a marketplace for students to buy and sell goods, which was acquired in 2015. Earlier in my career I worked as a software engineer at Recon Instruments (acquired by Intel) and later at Trulioo.

As an angel investor, I have backed companies including Apollo.ai, Carta, Ritual, WalletConnect, Eraser, Afterparty, Clay (acquired), Serve Robotics (IPO), Code Zero, Attendease (acquired), Spocket, Stay22, thisOpenSpace (acquired), and Grow (acquired).
